Die Begeisterung für den großartigen Klang, für seine erstaunliche Wirkung und auch für den Herstellungsprozess der chinesischen TAM TAM Gongs hat uns schon seit längerem erfasst. Und immer wieder kam der Gedanke auf, dieses wunderbare Instrument auch in unsere Kollektion aufzunehmen.
Nach sorgfältiger Recherche, einigen Bemusterungen, Tests und Beratung, schätzen wir uns nun sehr glücklich eine der besten traditionellen Gongs-Schmieden aus der chinesischen Region Wuhan als neuen Lieferanten gewonnen zu haben.
Der erste Gong, der
bei uns eintraf hat uns direkt so fasziniert und klanglich
umgehauen, dass die Aufnahme dieser TAM TAM Gongs

netto Unser mächtiger Tam Tam Gong wird in der Region Wuhan, in einer der renommiertesten Gong-Manufakturen Chinas in traditioneller Handarbeit geschmiedet. Er besteht aus einer Bronzelegierung zu 80% aus Kupfer und zu 20% aus Zinn. Durch aufwendige Fertigungsverfahren, wie
Hämmern, Drehen und Polieren entsteht die typisch goldglänzende Oberflächenoptik mit matt-dunklem Rand und dunkler
Gongmitte.
Neben der eindrucksvollen Schönheit und Größe begeistert dieser TamTam Gong mit einem überaus imposanten Klangcharakter, geprägt von Klarheit und enormer Ausdrucksfülle. Je nach verwendetem Schlägel/Gongreiber, Anschlagstärke und Anschlagpunkt variiert der Klang von wuchtig donnernd und durchdringend erhaben über metallisch, bis hin zu sphärisch betörend und wohlig entspannend. Es erwartet Sie ein überaus spannendes Klangspektrum der Spitzenklasse.

magnificent sound, for its amazing impact and also for the
manufacturing process of the Chinese
TAM TAM gongs
has gripped us for some time now.
And the idea of including this
wonderful instrument in our collection kept
coming up. After careful research, several samples, tests and
consultation, we are now very happy to have one of the best traditional gong manufacturers from the Chinese region of Wuhan as a new supplier. The first gong we received directly
captivted us and the amazing sound blew us away, so the addition of
these TAM TAM
gongs to the KAISER
DRUMS collection was instantly decided.
The character
響
(Kyo, Hibiki) meaning
“sublime sound”,
was
created by the Japanese calligraphy master Rie Wada
and eternalizes this enthusiasm and beauty on
our gongs.

hand-forged in the Wuhan region, in one of the most renowned gong
factories in China. It is made from a bronze alloy
consisting of 80% copper and 20% tin. Elaborate manufacturing
processes such as hammering, turning and polishing create the
typical shiny golden surface appearance surrounded by a matt dark
rim and a dark center of the gong. In addition to its impressive beauty and
size, this TamTam gong has an extremely impressive sound character, characterized by clarity and enormous
expressiveness. Depending on the mallet/gong rubber, striking force
and striking spot used, the sound varies from massive,
thunderous and penetratingly sublime to metallic, spherically
beguiling and blissfully relaxing. You can expect an extremely exciting, top-class sound spectrum. Each of our TamTam gongs is a unique
piece. Unique in appearance and sound. TamTam gongs are used in a variety of ways
